Thanks for the info! The script should NOT alter the performance of your site. If this is the case, we can definitely investigate. What is the URL of your site?
Also, to disable the the script from running, you will need to go to your Shareaholic > Advanced Settings and check “Disable Analytics”.

Cdn.w55c.net is a questionable search provider website, which, at first sight, may look legitimate and trustworthy. However, if a computer user attempts to search for any keywords or phrases online by using Cdn.w55c.net, he won’t get any protected and reliable search results. Browser hijackers and adware connected with Cdn.w55c.net may result in constant browser redirects to suspicious websites that may display non-stop pop-up advertisements on the PC.
I find it extremely disturbing that Shareaholic (a plugin provider that I have thus far trusted) is now baking into their plugin references to shady adware/malware sites, which in turn may make visitors to my site question ME why I am enabling malware on my site. I have disabled the Shareaholic plugin on my website until Shareaholic addresses and modifies this situation to my satisfaction.
I have the same issue and I have disable Shareaholic as well.
Shame on Shareaholic for doing this.

Almost *everything* in Shareaholic is configurable. If you would like to disable third party data services, follow these simple instructions:

Also, we only work with partners that are trustworthy. If this is not the case we would pull them out (and not partner with them in the first place). Here is some additional information about w55c: https://www.w55c.net/
