I am at a standstill. I set up two basic wordpress sites yesterday, through my server but was have some problems opening the subpages. I followed their directions about changing the uri (I think that was what it was) in the address fields in options/general. Now when I open either of my sites the theme is completely gone and when I try to access changes through the administrative site or even where it says “edit” on my pages, even though it says I am logged in as administator, I get an error message saying that the pages do not exist. I am clue less. My server tech support doesn’t have any topics that cover this. I can access my directory files through the server file manager, but I do not have a clue what I should be looking for to possibly make changes in the files themselves. HELP!!! Kathy Westgate, and

I remember a similar case on that netfirms server – it was the biggest mess I’ve ever seen…
    1. So, do you have in place some redirects for your URIs?
    2. Did you use their automatic install? (I suspect yes, since only in that case you get the /nfblog/ folder…)

What I’d do, since these are new blogs:
    – delete everything, including the tables in the database
    – do a manual install

Thanks. After no real help from the netfirms support team- their fixes did not fix the problem. I took your advice and deleted both blogs and started over.
