    I’ve used the following css to hide my Home Page title – the rest of the page titles I wanted to keep

    #post-80 .entry-title {display: none; }

    This worked perfectly, but I have a space or a gap where the text ‘was’. This means my first piece of content starts 30 – 40 px down from the top of the sidebar column and looks odd.

    Is there anyway to ‘lose’ this space with css, or does it need php? If it’s php what would it be?

    Many thanks

  • Part of it is from the margin here:

    .entry-content {
        clear: both;
        font-size: 16px;
        margin-top: 35px;
    }

    Try adding this:

    #post-80 .entry-content {
        margin-top: -30px;
    }

    WOW! What an amazingly quick response.

    That was it – thank you so much.
