I’ve done all I can do and this image thing is still a problem

  • Here’s a screencap of what I see: http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/4186/screenshot20091009at546.png

    There aren’t any images. The only image that appears to be showing up is the comment gravatar. I really want to know what could possibly be wrong. I re-installed several times, done what was suggested in other places, and so forth. Do you think the problem is just temporary and that if I look at it in a few hours, these images will show up? What do you think I should do? If anyone can help me with this, I’d appreciate it. I’ve been trying to fix this problem for a few hours now.

    Thanks.

  • After visiting your site, and viewing the default theme, this image should be viewable in a browser;

    http://www.livesinlyrics.com/wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickheader.jpg

    – same with this image; /wp-content/themes/default/images/audio.jpg

    This is the error response;

    403 Permission Denied
    You do not have permission for this request /wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickheader.jpg

    I think I would first check and see if you have accidentally turned on any form of “hotlink” protection for images from your hosts control panel.

    Wow, thank you so much. I completely forgot that I enabled that on the primary domain. INFINITE SLICES OF PIE FOR YOU. Or cake. Or whatever you fancy…

    I like apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, thank you! 🙂

    You are very welcome. Best wishes!
