• The feed validated when I did the initial submission to iTunes, but then they rejected it for technical issues. I can manually add the feed to itunes, but the episodes won’t play. They play just fine on the blog. I used a validator and it came up with syntax errors in parts of the page that I can’t find or don’t seem to have control over.

    feed is here: http://rockstardirectsales.com/feed/podcast

Files are hosted with Blubrry, using Avada child theme

There was also an error in the validator about leadpages, but I don’t see why there would be anything from that plugin in the feed.

I ran your feed thru a couple validators and everything came up fine. I also manually subscribed using desktop iTunes and it worked as expected. See this screenshot:

mgmac, you are using blubrry podcast hosting, please contact us for help. One of our staff will start the process of working with you and our rep at iTunes to identify what the problem is.

Can I ask what is the music from that you are playing in your podcast?

Thank you Shawn, I was able to get it to validate now as well, still not entirely sure what was wrong. We have a few more episodes in the feed now.

Angelo, I have sent in an email, thanks. I am working for the star of our podcast, so I have asked her what the music is.

Okay great. Just make sure the music is not copyrighted. There are no 8 second rules or anything like that, if you use copyrighted material, your show can be removed from iTunes.
