…but also about the responsiveness to helping you resolve something that isn’t working properly. I’m a new user of WordPress and activated Akismet mostly because it was included in the WordPress download package – and dealing with spam is always a challenge. There was some problem causing the setup screen to not display. It was late on a Friday night when I submitted a support request and didn’t expect any response until the next week. I was astounded to have a response the next morning, and when that didn’t solve the problem, my followup request was actually answered by Sunday morning (and that fixed the problem!). The tone of their response was always one of concern and empathy as well as (obviously) being very helpful. I’m not far enough along to have anything to report on the function of the plugin – but I’m very confident that any problem will be resolved in a similar competent and professional manager.
