It’s more work to me – Please let me use the current editor

    Hey there,

    I have plugins like easy recipe and qtranslate and will have to enter the text as the plugins will do it automatically with this editor. I don’t like it at all.

    Also the current auto saving really bugs me.

    So please continue letting us choose between the current editor and this new one.

    Thanks @rinaja for taking time to test Gutenberg. Can I dig a bit more if possible into this auto saving issue. Would you be up for making an issue here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new/choose? If not perhaps you can let me know a few more details like maybe what browser you are using and if this happens when you turn off all plugins apart from Gutenberg?

    Hi @tammie,

    I am using safari on my MacBook.

    The thing that bugs me is the visualisation of the auto-saving. It distracts when it changes the button’s looks every 10 seconds or so. Wouldn’t it be enough to auto-save every sixty seconds? And in the background? I mean how much can you do in sixty seconds? And even if your computer crashes, the work of 60 seconds is easily re-done.

    But this is the smaller issue. The plug-in thing is more important to me!

    I also reported two bugs directly in the plugin’s review section: the text box has an issue and can’t be filled with text or displayed and the wp dashboard sidebar scrolls to the bottom and cannot be scrolled up while editing a post.
