Support » Plugin: MailPoet - emails and newsletters in WordPress » It’s Good … But The OVER Marketing Is Too Damn Loud!

  • ::: Before Updating :::

    I’m staring at the update screen for your plugin … a screen that I see more often than most other plugins. I’ve seen it so many times that I already know how annoying the aftermath is going to be, assuming the installation goes as it should.

    First, I’m going to click “update”. Then, when I place my mouse over the mailpoet menu button in my WP and click on SUBSCRIBERS … you’re not going to TAKE me to subscribers.

    No, you’re going to tell me a bunch of annoying “news”, completely interrupting my workflow and distracting me from why I’m trying to access it in the first place.

    Which is why you’re average. Your plugin is only average because it won’t shut up. Every time (often) we receive an update, you want to take us somewhere we’re not asking to go so that you can attempt to “sell” us on what we ain’t buyin’.

    So, you’re average.

    Yahtzee … but without the excitement.
