After some sereach we found this topic on their (Contact Form 7) support site, you might find it helpful

Why isn’t My AJAX Contact Form Working Correctly?

    Thanks for your reply!
I have it working since yesterday! I really wanted this plugin to work because it’s a great one. Thanks for the plugin! 🙂
After I read so many times <?php wp_footer();?> HAS to be in the footer.php (wich was in my theme) I thought: just try that phrase in the sidebar.php (were I wanted the download form), and then it worked…
Could you give me a last answer please… What’s with <?php wp_footer();?> and what will it do in the sidebar.php?

    Hello Hilde vO,

We are glad you found the solution to your issue. The reason the <?php wp_footer?> is needed is because several plugins use the hook to reference other files. With out it, they frequently break.

Thanks for your interest in our plugin and feel free to let us know if you have any more difficulties. Please mark this thread as resolved as well.
