I've got a massive layout problem when I load my page in IE. Its all shoved over to the right! Its loading properly in Mozilla Firefox though. This is my very first attempt at customising a theme, and I have no idea what I did wrong or how to go about fixing it. Can someone please help? URL http://mousietales.net

    TIA

Welcome to the wonderful world of tweaking for different browsers. Without totally taking your setup apart (which I really haven't got time to do right now), I can tell you it's probably going to be in your narrowcolumn selectors, and perhaps you'll also need to tweak your headerimg, and your entry div.

If you don't have it, you should go get the Aardvark extension for FF - http://karmatics.com/aardvark/. It's of IMMEASURABLE help when tweaking.

Thanks! I've managed to get it centered properly in both browsers. Only problem now is all the contents of my sidebar has gone to to bottom of the page in IE. How can I fix that? What is with IE??? :(

    again TIA

Um. I refuse to comment on IE (using the standard "may incriminate...." etc.)

Mostly, a drop to bottom problem with the sidebar in IE is due to something in the sidebar (graphic, link, whathaveyou) which is wider than the stated sidebar width whatever that is in your theme; alternatively, sometimes due to a graphic etc. in the entry section wider than ITS stated width in the theme.

If you do a search here for "sidebar drops in IE" I guarantee you you'll find enough reading to get you through Thanksgiving at the VERY least.

I have my side bar back in place - Thank you! It was a linked image issue.

Of course now IE has decided its not going to scroll down the page without crawling at snail pace and jerking. I've done a fair bit of searching and can't come up with anything that sounds similar to my problem. I was thinking it might be a script issue, but I disabled the script I'm using and its still happened.

    Any ideas on this one?

    Many thanks
