    I understand that a lot of work went into building it as it stands now and complexity of making a backwards compatable . However I don’t think it is ready to be released, even as a test version. Overwhelming 1 star reviews are backing up my statement. Please have a look at “Beaver” and “Thrive Architect” plugins. They have far better and more intuitive editors. Those are also loaded with huge library of scripts that often defeat the seemingly simplicity which they are trying to show off. More over such plugins create script that can’t be used on other websites.

    I think a better approach would be to look at Beaver and Thrive code, perfect that instead of reinventing something that’s already build by someone else.

    Beaver Builder have made several announcements on the use of the Gutenberg editor with Beaver Builder which may interest you.
