Hi,
Thank you for your post and opinion.
Please note that the plugin was built for theme developers, not standard WordPress users. This is clearly stated in plugin’s description. Other more advanced features of the plugin simply don’t work when your theme doesn’t support them.
The plugin is meant to provide functionality for my themes. That’s why everything is in one plugin, but everything is disabled by default (except basic shortcodes). If it is a good idea to put all that into one plugin, just look at Jetpack plugin…
I do not experience any issue with deleting the plugin via dashboard.
If you would like to see what the plugin offers in full power and reconsider your rating, you can try it with one of my themes at http://www.webmandesign.eu. The Q’tron, Forstron theme uses the plugin fully with Beaver Builder integration, the Mustang theme uses it with Visual Composer integration and Mustang Lite uses the plugin fully, but there is no page builder plugin included within this free “Lite” version of the theme.
Regards,
Oliver
Also, I’m not sure what you mean by “shortcodes are not cool”. I can assure you the shortcodes included with WebMan Amplifier plugin are the most flexible ones offered in the wild. And I’ve tested tons of other solutions.
You can read a review from other professional plugin developer, Justin Busa from Beaver Builder, at https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/webman-amplifier?filter=5
Everything really is related to whether your theme supports the plugin or not. It is the “Theme developer’s best friend!” as I state. If you want to integrate the plugin features with your theme, please read comments and instructions in https://github.com/webmandesign/webman-amplifier/blob/master/webman-amplifier-setup.php file.
Regards,
Oliver
