iThemes Security – Yoast SEO conflict

    I found and already reported that iTSec bans Google, Bing etc. bots and obviously we can’t have an up to date list to whitelist them
    (but iTSec could have, like it has a central blacklist like:
    Hackrepair.com)

    Now I found it makes problems with Yoast SEO, with its sitemap generation of:
    sitemap_index.xml
    it creates a:
    “error on line 1 at column 87: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document”
    so my sitemap can not be used!

    Yoast writes about it:
    https://kb.yoast.com/kb/xml-sitemap-error/
    so I finally found it is in conflict with iTSec!

    Does anyone have an idea which iTSEc setting can cause it?

    I consider to buy iTSec Pro for a bunch of my sites, but I don’t get any response to my issues and it stops me to convert…
