# iThemes Maintenance Mode?

 * This will sound like a crazy question, but does iThemes have a “maintenance” 
   mode?
 * I installed it and was looking at the features, but not changing anything. And
   suddenly everything I clicked on led to a screen telling me the site was in maintenance
   mode, and that I should check back in a minute.
 * It took about 5 minutes before I could get beyond that screen.
 * Anyone know what was happening?

 * PS: I tried to find this in the support forum, but gave up after reading 7-8 
   pages.

 * It does not have a maintenance mode feature. Can you disable all other plugins
   to see if it’s conflicting with something?

 * Hey fluencyNEWS, Maintenance Mode is actually something built into WordPress 
   Core. Please see the [Maintenance Mode Following Upgrade section of the Common WordPress Errors](http://codex.wordpress.org/Common_WordPress_Errors#Maintenance_Mode_Following_Upgrade)
   page in the codex and see if that helps.
