Items stored in basket/checkout hold on to old prices after price update

    A customer was able to put an item in their basket on a particular day when a product was on sale. The next day the prices were put back to the normal price, yet the customer ran the transaction and got the old price.

    I’ve since done some analysis, and it seems that if you basket an item and go to checkout, the option to keep stuff in a basket for a limited amount of time doesn’t do anything, it persists, and if you change a price, this is not updated in the checkout page, even after a page refresh. Is this expected behavior? Has anyone else discovered this?
