Items and amount total in cart in main navigation missing after update to 2.2.8

Hi,

After I installed version 2.2.8, the items and amout total i cart in main navigation is missing. The option “Display item and amount totals in the cart in the main navigation” is still checked. When the page loads, I can see the items and amout total show up next to the cart icon, but as soon as the page has finished loading it dissapears. The element a.cart-contents is empty when I inspect it in the DOM, only the :before is there (which is the icon). Anyone knows what’s causing this? I’m using UNO theme from Woothemes.

The site is in development phase so I can’t link to it unfortunately.
