• Italics are not working. As soon as they are added as a font variant all variants are shown as italics. Thus you need to set-up the italics as a separate font which makes it really cumbersome to use.

This problem has been around for over a year and it seems nothing has been done to fix it. Not impressed. 🙁

    Hello Herman,

    Please look at these screenshots:

    1. Set-up of the font variations

    2. Shows what it looks like after saving. All variations convert to italics. This is unwanted!

    Thanks,
    Ann.

Yeah what’s going on here? All my fonts uploaded have turned to italics?

    Hi @annssi,

Thank you for sharing the screenshots.

Well, please refer to this thread.

Anyway, I will bring this up again to the team and we’ll see if it is feasible for us to improve the plugin in future updates.

    Thank you for your support!

    Kind regards,
    Herman 😊

If you had looked at the screenshot annssi attached, you would have seen that the other thread is speaking of something different, as in the screenshot you can see the different styles/weights have been set up correctly. Instead everything shows up as italics in the front end and while editing. Even if they have been correctly configured as the printscreen clearly shows.

So if you use this plugin, having text that goes from normal to italics and back like this is impossible, as they need to be different fonts. Practically the plugin isn’t working except if you don’t plan to have italics.
