Not for a plugin. The plugin could provide any interface it wishes so that we don’t need to treat the two as separate fonts. In fact, the plugin developers stated many months ago that this feature was being developed in a forum thread where someone asked for this. Several people seconded the request, saying it would be useful for them as well and the developer simply said that it wasn’t a priority. We aren’t talking about CSS references here
No, this is not the the way the fonts work. This is a bad approach.
When someone are editing a text and wont to mark some word with italics, you simply touch the italic button. With this approach you will be forced to change the font every time you need a word in italic.
normal – false italic provided by plugin – true italic
I would like to inform you that v2.0 of this plugin includes a complete revamp and the addition of the highly anticipated feature you requested. We kindly request you to update the plugin to the latest version and share your valuable feedback with us.
@zehgs, we would greatly appreciate it if you could reconsider your review, as the feature you were looking for is now incorporated into the plugin. Your satisfaction would bring us immense joy.
Best regards,
Herman 😊
