Hi, Ive set Annual Archive in my sidebar like a widget and when I click to a year it appears me the page of the articles written in this year correctly, but I’ve realized that the main title that appears in the header of my theme (“Striped” theme) isn’t translated to Italian, it displays “Yearly Archives: ####“. I’ve tried to find the right word to translate here, but I didnt found “Yearly Archives” and I dont know how to translate it. Have you any suggestions on how can I can do it?

Thank you anyway, the plugin is well done and very useful 🙂

You are referring to the title of the Archives page that is controlled by the theme’s archive.php file. Since you are (wisely) using a child-theme, simply copy the archive.php file from the parent them into the child theme directory and then change the:

    <h1 class="main-title">...</h1>

    element to Italian.

This is not really an issue with our plugin so we’ll mark it as resolved.
    Best of luck!

I’ve seen now the archives.php file but I found only this:
    <h1 class="entry-title"><?php esc_html_e('Nothing Found', 'dp-striped' ); ?></h1>

I dont know what to change and how, because I dont know how php works… If is a simple thing can you help me please?

    Best regards,
    Jakob

The code you posted is the entry-title at the bottom of the page of there are no results found. Is there a main-title more at the top of the file? It could also be that your theme has placed this title in the header.php file? Sorry, but there is no way to fix this without digging into the php of your templates.

It’s quite difficult to assist you with a theme issue this blind. Since you are using a premium theme, you might consider reaching out to the theme developers for support. If you would like us to fix the problem for you, we would be happy to do this as part of the personal support offered with Archive-Pro-Matic.

Super! Yes, the main-title was placed in a file called “before.php” with lots of other title settings.

Thank you so much and have a nice day, 5 stars 🙂
