It Works – It’s Easy – It Has a Great support Team

I tried another plugin that does about the same thing, but it was too tedious. With Easy Digital Downloads it is truly easy.

1. Upload the digital document you want to sell
2. Prepare the digital downloads page (basically a page name, price and file URL)
3. Prepare the sales page. I used the short codes to build my sales page using DIVI and will eventually have over 400 documents described on that page, with a purchase (or free) link for each doc.

I was also able to quickly build a user dashboard using several of the short codes to allow users to track their purchases, re-download docs as needed, and update their password. Short codes are all in the user documentation.

When I ran into a problem – a click on the download link from the checkout page opened a website – I got an answer in short order. I had the short code inside an anchor element – obviously – after they mentioned the possibility. I’m sure they will be equally helpful with more complex issues.

It just works, I recommend it if you have documents to sell.
