• Upon install, I was not able to successfully enter the activation key. The procedure was to copy and paste the purchased Everest Forms key into the activation field and to press enter. It didn’t work.

A request was made for help and support was given to get the key installed. Though I had to provide administrative access, which was unsettling as I open up myself for potential security breach with trusting the developer. Who knows who was on the other end? I gave in after backing up my website…and then let them work.

I suggest, posting the exact steps that are needed for others, should they run into a similar issue.

    Hi @irwinpks

    Thanks for writing in,

We would like to make you sure that we do not breach any site’s security. We just try to help our users in any way possible. Sometimes, we have to ask for the admin access to make sure everything is in order and won’t trouble our user.
However, we will take this suggestion and try to make a clear step-by step documentation of similar issues.
We are happily at your disposal for any additional questions. Also, if you found our help to be genuine, you being generous to rethink the review would be a great help us to grow.

    Thanks!

    Hi Saroj,

The replies, and response for support to complete the install is favorable towards a 5 star review…but just quite didn’t’ make it. Perhaps when a time comes where I need to implement Everest Forms on a future website, the above situation is either resolved programmatically or supplemented with a solution in a FAQ or knowledgebase entry…will surely get a 5-star stamp.

    Thank you,

    Irwin
