    I'm working on my very first blog ... everything was going well during the styling ... except, when I want to put <img alt="Tags:" src=images/icons/tag.jpg" /> it never shows the actual image, instead it shows the alt-text ... the xhtml is valid and averything ... I just can't figure out what's wrong ... is there something else I should be looking for?

    Please help! :)

    <img alt="Tags:" src=images/icons/tag.jpg" />

    use the full url to the img, or as I learned recently, use:

    <img alt="Tags:" src=/images/icons/tag.jpg" />

    No, it doens't have to do with the src=" ... "

    because when i put
    <img alt="Tags:" src=images/icons/tag.jpg" />
    on a fresh index.htm it does work ... it just won't show when I use it as Tag-icon ... still the html is valid ... i just don't get it ...

    Look above you'll see the solution your using a relative path adding the slash in front makes it an absolute path. This tells your browser to look in the root directory of the website for the images folder.
