It was good until the last update

Our alternative was to shut down the plugin, remove it from the directory, and move on to something else. We chose to admit our mistake and change the free features in an attempt to make the plugin financially viable going forward. If you like HappyForms and care about its ongoing development, we’d encourage you to upgrade, because it gives us the fuel required to continue to work on the plugin. If you don’t believe me, or are simply done with HappyForms because you feel misled, we understand completely and wish you the best.

Oh! So sorry there’s some confusion, @dansit.

HappyForm is still very much free to download and use. We just moved some of the features that were once in the free plugin over to our paid plugin. And we did this to continue financially supporting HappyForms ongoing development.

I hope my earlier message didn’t imply, incorrectly, that the plugin is no longer free. Sorry if that’s the case!
