Unfortunately I uploaded Jetpack plugin when I started my website, but when it updated it jammed/glitched, couldn’t be updated. I deleted the plug-in/refreshed it on the WP site and on my dashboard. It breaks my firewall and takes my whole site down with a message – Hi Jetpack, we are good to go. When I log into WordPress.com I see an amber jetpack warning to check the plug-in. I don’t have it. I also deleted it from the plug-in system files. So where is it lingering in the system. The hosting providers are unable to clear this glitch and it’s taking my site down randomly.

Hi there, if you deleted Jetpack from the site, then when you log into WordPress.com it will show as disconnected (with an amber colored warning.)

Do you just need to disconnect the WordPress.com instance at this point? If so, try this:
    https://jetpack.com/support/disconnect-jetpack-sites/

If that’s not working, though, please send a link to the site.
