I’ve run into this if that folder isn’t there and you don’t have permissions to create it. I would try
- Verify permissions are set correctly
- Check if
define('WP_TEMP_DIR', ABSPATH . 'SOMEPATH/tmp/');
is defined in your wp-config.php file. If so, you could try changing it to define('WP_TEMP_DIR', ABSPATH . 'wp-content/');
and if not, you could add it just above the line that says, `/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
Do either of those things make a difference?
