 * it just doesn’t work.
    create new site, active plugin, restore via url -> request
   ftp access ? key all data -> site gone, it need to reinstall wp again

 * Same for me. I end up with a non functional site. I can get to the admin panel
   but clicking on anything in the admin panel, like “Appearance” actually takes
   me back to the original site, which is not at all what I was expecting.

   going to give importing the sql file a shot.

 * Just tried it and same issue occurs here. Nothing only a blanc page while creating
   a back up.

 * OP, what do you mean “request ftp access ? key all data”. I’ve used it and had
   it work easily on a number of sites, but I did note that it can’t get the file
   for restore if the file is in a protected folder. Did you try moving the backup
   file to somewhere that is accessible?
