    Hello,

    I’m using WordPress 4.7.3

I used to update the plugins from time to time manually. Since the beginning of this year 2017, I noticed that plugins are always remarked with the green status as updated, and then no update messages appear to me as before.

I discovered that most of plugins now are outdated!! Though, it still show it is updated!!!

I installed your plugin over a week ago, and almost all your options are set to green. Though, I still haven’t received any update request for the website.

I contacted hosting support, they confirmed all settings are correct. The cron jobs are
working fine. There are lots of other auto-running operations are executed successfully on the website. Just updates doesn’t work.

Is this a bug in WordPress? Or this is a bug with your plugin?

    Any help?

    Thanks…

Can you please provide a picture of what settings you have on/off. Also who is your host?

For the hosting company, May I tell it you in a private message if the image doesn’t help?

    Thanks so much!

    Everything looks fine.

You don’t need to tell me the host if you can contact them yourself and ask them a few questions about updates. Why I usually ask people for their host is because then I contact the host directly and ask them if they disable certain WordPress updates and features. Some hosts disable stuff which could be the case here. If you can contact them directly and ask them if they disable any updates or automatic updates in WordPress, then I don’t need the host.

Have you checked your wp-config.php file for any strings that are disabling updates? If you don’t know what this is you could probably ask your host about this.

This problem also sounds like it is unrelated to Easy Updates Manager. Easy Updates Manager is meant to provide settings and features to help you manage your WordPress updates. This problem sounds like it was around before you even installed Easy Updates Manager. I have still happy to help, although for future reference this should be posted in the main WordPress support forum.
