Have you setup your MySQL database with your host?
Have you filled in the database info in wp-config.php??
1) Yes, this was an upgrade from the old version. Everything was working fine, so I’m assuming I don’t need to do this again.
2) The config file says,
99% chance you won’t need to change this value
So I guess I should give that a shot?
What value are they looking for there? i.e. site.com/blog/wordpress?
it looks like you may have written over your original config file. Did you backup your database first?
This is from Moshu on another thread
restore the “over-written” blog:
find the original wp-config.php file for the site/blog you just messed up, and upload it.
The blog content should show up (in case you had a custom theme that is missing now, switch to the default until you restore it).
DO NOT run any install or upgrade or something like that. Just simple FTP the old/original config file.
In this case after you have done that, then try to reinstall the upgrade. For upgrade you do NOT need to bother with the config files.
Thanks for the help. Suggestions worked great.
