The plugin have the slug gf_edit_forms, you can find this on the settings page of Adminimize. If I hide this in my tests, it is not visible for the user.

Have your custom role a single name or maybe a space/empty string in the name? If yes, please test it with a single name or with underline instead of a space.

Thank you for your answer @frank.

I did some more tests and I found that the issue occurs when I have disabled some of gravity forms capabilities for the user.

When this happen gravity forms removes some menus (for example “New Form”). All menus after that can’t removed from Adminimize.

Maybe Gravity Forms change the slug after this changes.

Please, follow steps. Activate the debug helper in Adminimize.
Login as User and vie a back end page, like tools. Use F12 to see the Webinspector in the browser and select the tab “Console”. In this Console you will find all menu and sub-menu slugs of the back end. Validate, compare this values for the Gravity Forms plugin with the slugs in the Adminimize settings page, the slug is always on each Menu and Sub menu item in the settings page, the string next from the Menu Item name.

Is it different? If yes, add this as custom slug to the Own Options area of the Menu Settings of Adminimize, like this how to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/hide-visual-composer?replies=6#post-8141258

    best.
