Support » Plugin: JSJ Gallery Slideshow » It does nothing – what am I doing wrong?

  • Resolved wenmarkco

I already had a gallery inserted into a page using the default template, with the only change from the default settings set to use a medium sized image instead of thumbnail.
I installed the plugin and checked the settings, but made no changes and cleared my cache and refreshed the page and it doesn’t look any different.
I’m using Woo Canvas theme and I’ve disabled any dynamic imaging functions it had.
There must be something else interfering with the plugin but I cannot figure out what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Can you:

    1. Disable all plugins and see if that works

    2. Make sure you are 100% sure you are using the [gallery] shortcode and not any other shortcode that belongs to your theme. (You can see this by clicking “Text” instead of “Visual” in your editor).

    3. Change theme and see if that works.

Just trying to pin point the problem… after that we might figure out what’s going on.

My theory is that something else is overwriting the [gallery] shortcode.

It was a Canvas plugin. Thanks for your help. It’s working great now!
