@newoabp Or any other similar extension or tool that remembers passwords?
All you have to do to confirm the password that your browser is sending is to open the “Developer Tools” in your browser, and then read the password in the pay-load sent.

I can give you 5 π but I know what happened with me. If you want just 5 π tell me. But if you want to improve this plugin trust me. I don’t tell you like.
@newoabp I certainly do want to improve the plugin, and have no interest in saying that anybody is lying. Unfortunately, at this point, nobody can reproduce your problem (two people did manage to, we forensically traced the cause, and discovered that their web browser was automatically re-inserting their saved password).
So, I need your help and am eager to have it. Here is something to do:
1) Go to your WP login page.
2) Open the “Developer” tools (usually by pressing Control-Shift-J….. or right-click and choose the option from the menu).
In the “Developer” tools, go to the “Network” tab. Screenshot:
2) In the login page, type “wrong_password” as your password, and a TFA code.
3) If it logs you in, then, in the inspector, click on “wp-login.php”, and scroll down to “Form Data”. This will then show you what the browser sent, like so:
I should repeat that our plugin does not actually check the password, because WordPress core does that. The plugin only checks the TFA code. So, if we do find a problem with passwords, then it is something else in your setup. But I am happy to help you find it.
