    The author might want to change the defaults to avoid altering an existing site when installed.
    The plugin changes the menu straight forward, and that is scary.
    The idea is good, but probably the defaults must be changed.

    This doesn’t change anything in your existing setup or menu. I feel you are misunderstanding something here.

    A 1 star review is quite harsh as my plugin literally avoids what you are saying on purpose.
