Is it possible to adjust the size of some of the text entry fields?

Hello,

I have noticed that some of the text boxes are a little off kilter and odd shaped. I know this is not a huge problem but was just wondering of it was possible to adjust them, for instance the search field where you enter text is a little too big and goes below the header bar on the messages page, please see here:

…and then when you hover on the most recent message below it, the bottom of the search field disapears:

I have also noticed the ‘Send to’ field is a little too tall compared to the other single fields when composing a message:

Is there a way these text fields can be changed or adjusted?
