Support » Plugin: WordPress Email Template Designer - WP HTML Mail » Issues with the layout editor

The email editor have many issues. Aligning an image is not possible it always aligns it to the left or right regardless if youre aligning to the center. The TYNYMCE for editing content is blank most of the time when selecting content for editing.

The Max Email Widt and Email Background Color simply doesnt do anything. Its not posible to set a padding for the hole body of the email so it looks terrible The email body have always a max width of 840 px and a margin that is not simetric so it doesnt look centered once its on the user inbox.

Dont know if im missing some settings to make it work, but couldnt find any option for the “Build email” section.

Its not traking opened emails or links, is this a server issue?

Theres an option for css but what are the selectors to style it, is this for adding styles to the email?

Im running this plugin in a clean wp instalation in case you wonder. WordPress version 5.3.2

  • Hey @albertohrtzt

I’m sorry you’re not satisfied with the plugin. Where did you find a setting for “Max Email Width” we do not have this option. Our email are also not 840px wide and the margin should always be symmetric.
Can you confirm you do not use any additional email editing plugin?

I assume you are using the WooCommerce extension of WP HTML Mail? Otherwise you would not have any content to select for editing, correct?

There is no option to track emails. This is not focus of this plugin, it is just for styling.

The selectors for the CSS can be found inspecting the preview with the web developer tools of your browser as you’d do it on a website.

    best regards, Hannes
