Issues with Slider Pictures

    I’m having difficulty with the pictures on the sliders. The pictures are way too big and the slider is cutting off some of the pictures. One of the main pictures that we wanted to use is coming out blurry and we cannot figure out how to resize any of the photos for this particular slider

    Hi,
    Best dimensions for slider images are width 1170px and height 500px.

    Do I put that in the media settings category where the options are for “thumbnail, medium size or large size”?

    Upload images of that size. Your images are too small.

    I go into media and edit image, but when I type in those numbers the 1170 will show up, but when I type in 500 there is a red exclamation point that comes up. When I click to update the image some of them do and some do not. some images look better, while others appear the same.

    Hi,

    Login to WordPress.
    Navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Global settings -> Image settings

    Find this setting – Dynamic slider images centering on any devices

    Uncheck the check-box and Save and Publish changes.

    Clear any cache plugin cache and browser history, before re-visiting front end.

    This should prevent the top and bottom of your slider image being hidden.
