# Issues with plugin

 * I can’t seem to get the pictures to show up, nor do the header tags seem to work.
   Any ideas? Should I just try reinstalling? Here’s the page I’m trying to put

 * It looks like you’ve pasted the short code into the “visual” version of the page.
   Try switching to the “text” tab on the editor and pasting it in there.
 * Also, can you confirm that the plugin directory is writable by your webserver?
   If it isn’t can you create a cache directory in the plugin folder and make it
   writable by your webserver? You’re the second person to have this problem, so
   I’m going to make a note of it and the fix in the documentation.

 * Perfect,
    You still need to create a cache directory at wp-content/plugins/visual-
   recipe-index/includes/cache and make it writable by your webserver.
 * You’re getting timthumb errors because of this, e.g:
 * [http://www.fermentingforfoodies.com/wp-content/plugins/visual-recipe-index/includes/timthumb.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fermentingforfoodies.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F05%2FSourdough-23.jpg&h=140&w=140&zc=1&q=100](http://www.fermentingforfoodies.com/wp-content/plugins/visual-recipe-index/includes/timthumb.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fermentingforfoodies.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F05%2FSourdough-23.jpg&h=140&w=140&zc=1&q=100)
 * one you create that directory and make it writable by your webserver you will
   see images.
