Issues with PHP 8+ – what’s the best alternative to this plugin?

    I finally updated to PHP 8+, but there are fatal issues with this plugin. Given it has not been updated in 5 years, what is the best alternative when combined with Polylang Translate?

    I tried using the code snippets offered by one user below, but it does not address my issue (array), which is in the pages.php file. A Stack Overflow post on this issue does not solve my problem, either, and that page just crashes.

    Too bad, I liked this plugin.
