# Issues with Permalink Settings

 * I searched online for several mins before posting this and unable to find a fix
 * Running wordpress 3.0.2 which I just installed
    I updated the template and plugins
   just fine but when I setup a Custom Structure in permalinks of /%category%/%postname%/
   I get error 404 on all my page loads. Optional feilds are blank

 * I’m up for any ideas

 * Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and deleting/
   renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If this works, then review [Using_Permalinks](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks)
   before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
