Support » Plugin: Lightbox for Gallery & Image Block » Issues with Mobile?

I activated the plugin and then viewed my website on an iphone 8. When I click on an image thumbnail in the image gallery, it opens the image in a new page, no Lightbox; all I can do is click on the “previous page” arrow. When I do this, the Lightbox then appears, but sometimes there is no image, just a pulsing circle in the middle that goes on and on; other times the image displays – there are no navigation arrows, but I can swipe. Same exact issue on my ipad Pro. The Lightbox works correctly on my desktop – clicking on the thumbnail immediately opens the image in the Lightbox, with arrows.

I am using a Divi theme.

Thank you for any help or insight.

Thank you Johannes for looking into this. I deactivated Google Analytics, and you are correct – the Lightbox now works as expected on mobile. I am relatively inexperienced — is there a “simple” way to block the script for mobile, or does this mean I need to deactivate Google Analytics in order to use your plugin?

    Thank you.

I hand the problem on my Laptop with Firefox, too.

I would suggest trying the official Google Plugin: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/google-site-kit/ But be aware: It could be illegal to use Google Analytics in the EU. Not only that, but I can’t find a privacy police on your site, too, and some Content seems to be in German.
Do you really need all the features of Google Analytics? Otherwise, I would suggest trying a privacy-focused analytics plugin like: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/koko-analytics/

Thank you Johannes for this feedback, you have given me some things to think about. We do have some German content, as the subject of our site is a German lied singer. We don’t save personal information on visitors, but I did not think about what Google is tracking. I had no idea our site could be considered illegal in the EU, and I will definitely correct that. We mostly just want to know how many visitors we get, where they are from, what platforms they use, and what content they prefer. I will look at the plugin you suggested. Again, many thanks.
