  • I have the Subscribe to Blog widget enabled with Jetpack on a client’s site and am having issues with time discrepancies between a post’s scheduled publishing time when an email notification is set out to subscribers that the post is published.

    My client scheduled a post 8 days ago to be published this morning at 6:30am. While the post appears to have been published at 6:30am, an email notification was sent out to all subscribers at 1:34am.

    Time zone is set to Chicago (CST) in settings. UTC is 5 hours LATER so that doesn’t explain why the email notification was sent 5 hours EARLY. Is there a setting that I may be missing? I am working with WordPress version 3.3.2 (haven’t updated to 3.4 yet) and the Clean Home theme, but I’m not sure this issue has anything to do with either of those things.

    If anyone has any insight, I’d really appreciate it. Can’t seem to find any similar issues in the forums, so I kind of feel like I am missing something glaringly obvious.
