Issues with duplicated category e-mail notices and things

    Hi

    I have an issue whereby if I create a post with multiple categories assigned and have e-mail templates and notices set up on each of those categories, a subscriber will receive multiple duplicated e-mail messages advising of the post. The problem is that all the e-mails are all identical. I would have expected a different email for each category based on the notification name.. Hope this makes sense..

    An example would be if I have ‘software’ and ‘technical alert’ categories and have e-mail notifications and templates configured for them, when I create a new post and select both categories the subscriber will receive two identical e-mails from the ‘software’ notification rather than one email from ‘software’ and another from ‘technical alert’. For the moment I have to limit each post to a single category to stop spamming the subscribers. A more sensible way to do things would be to just send a single e-mail out if a post has multiple categories selected.

    Secondly, is there a way to place an ‘unsubscribe’ link in the widget? A selective (category checkbox) unsubscribe would also be better than the ‘killall’ approach that is currently used..

    Finally, a request: it would be nice to be able to edit the labels in the widget. at the moment it seems the only way is a code hack..

    We are unable to replicate the same on our end i.e. it is sending only a new post notification email.

    Nope, not as of now.

    Finally, a request: it would be nice to be able to edit the labels in the widget. at the moment it seems the only way is a code hack..
