   Surely your default plugin settings should override the theme settings?
 * a) How do I get that neat events search?
    b) How come it’s not pulling through
   the featured image? –> I just want it to show as the defaults of your plugin 
   show it, no customisations.

 * I haven’t edited the basic code, it just is not displaying nicely. I want to 
   try and get the layout as per your demo but it’s not looking the same.

 * I think the demo site is using default wordpress twentytwelve theme and you might
   need to check the css of this theme or use child theme.
