Issues with ct_product_cat and primary_category

    A couple of things here:

    Any reason why %%primary_category%% isn’t working on WooCommerce product pages? Any reason why I wouldn’t be seeing any option to set a primary category? Is this available in the free version?

    Again on the product page, I am trying to use ct_product_cat but only display the immediate parent but have an issue where some products are assigned to multiple categories (which is what led me to try to use the primary category).

    Does anyone have any idea how to get primary categories working or simply just show immediate parent with ct_product_cat? Maybe a custom variable is needed here?

The issue you are experiencing with the %%primary_category%% template variable on WooCommerce products is a known bug that we are already aware of.     It didn’t look like there was ever a solution for this judging by the link you shared? Any recommendations?

    @lcm404 ​Thanks for your reply, and we apologize for the inconvenience the issue with %%primary_category%% is causing you.

    Currently the issue report for the bug is still open, which means it has not yet been addressed by our developers. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide an ETA as to when this will be resolved. Currently the issue is in a queue and we can’t say how much time will be required before our developers can investigate the issue. Whereas we can’t provide an ETA as to when a fix for this issue will be implemented, you can monitor the issue report page for updates on the issue’s resolution.
