There seems to be an issue with the new version concerning caching. Namely, all loads well in our staging site but the fields keep on loading on the live site. In the console we see this error: “TypeError: braintree.setup is not a function”. All caches are cleared and the host says: “probably means that the newer version has a compatibility bug with caching”. They are quite the experts in WordPress, so I do trust their judgement there.

    Hi @nextgaything,

We would like to check this, can you please raise a ticket along with providing screenshots at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ with the administrator credentials?

    Have a nice day.

    Hi,

I can do that but the issue is that naturally we disabled it on the live site as else people could not buy. As the issue doesn’t occur on the staging site then there is probably an optimisation/caching issue (even though the checkout page is not cached, as far as I know).

    Hi @nextgaything,

Can you let me know who is hosting this? You can create a clone site [for investigation purposes] using the  [WP-Staging](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/). This plugin lets you copy and redeploy a WordPress site with minimal work.

Once created then please raise a ticket at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ along with the administrator credentials and we will have this checked for you.

    Cheers!
