[Resolved] Issues with blog page width and front page

  • Hi guys. I’m just about ready to pull my hair out with these problems. I’m not a programmer AT ALL, I’m very new to WordPress and I’ve dabbled a bit in editing the code, but not a whole lot.

I had my website JUST how I wanted it, then unexpectedly I got the white screen of death while trying to log-in to my wp-admin. Thankfully I found some advice suggesting to check the functions.php file (I went onto my Bluehost account and replaced my edited functions.php file with the original) and that fixed the problem.

When I logged back in I saw that my page widths had become completely messed up. I managed to fix most of them, except the “Blog” page and my homepage. That’s where I’m stuck.

    Theme: Theron Lite

    Messed up homepage: http://www.perfectlypaintedfaces.com/
    – The slider is no longer rotating through the 4 images, or showing the text descriptions
    – the blog post section below the 4 “blocks” is not displaying correctly – just showing up as a white box now
    – the footer disappeared

    Messed up blog page:
    http://www.perfectlypaintedfaces.com/blog/
    – width isn’t full-page like every other page

Any ideas? I’m getting incredibly frustrated with this. 🙁

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give!

  • Um, the front page looks fine to me. I see the footer, and the four blocks and the slider is rotating through things. Did you try just clearing your browser cache, etc.?

Your blog page gives me a 404, though.

My apologies, I decided to just remove the blog (and deal with it later) and that seemed to fix all my issues. Thank you anyway!
