Issues with advanced gallery mobile display and wp mobile preview

    Hi, first I really like your plugin, I ‘m finding it one of the most useful and easy to use block plugins.

    Two issues with the way advanced gallery plugin works with the preview mode.

    1) When a carousel galler is in mobile preview mode there is a large gap between the bottom of the images and the bottom of the block, where the round icons are representing the numbers of images.

    2) The masonary gallery columns are set up to be 3 columns on desktop, 2 column on mobile. However the columns don’t reduce down in the mobile preview mode.

    1) they behave as they should if you view the actualy page. But it would be useful if it was compatible with the preview mode in the block editor.

    Also a request: it would be really great to be able to change the GALLERY TYPE depending on the device/screen size. For instance, fluid carousel on desktop, 1 col grid on mobile.

    I’m using wp 5.6

    Thanks for writing. This is known 🙂

    “preview mode” is unfortunately not well thought out by the core team, Kadence Blocks has some hacks in place to start creating a more realistic preview but not all blocks have this hack, and more than likely core will change this in the future. I suggest using your browser to preview: https://kadence-theme.com/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/how-to-preview-the-mobile-version-of-your-site-on-desktop/

    I appreciate your request. Unfortunately, the markup is so different this kind of control isn’t something I plan to add. I suggest you add two rows, with two galleries, then in your rows have one show only for mobile and one hide only for mobile. This is something you can do in the visibility settings of the row layout block.

    Thanks for getting back and the advice. Hopefully wordpress will sort out the preview mode at some point
