# Issues with 4.8

 * A number of issues have come up since 4.8 or even before. The largest issue for
   me has been the hide backend feature making the site unreachable.

 * +1 for this, with several (but not all) of my sites affected. It is also troubling
   that the plugin has allowed the update to have long passed without revision.
   
   I won’t be buying the Pro version, for certain.

 * Same here. When wordpress changed to v4.8, the hide backend feature went into
   an infinite loop (but only in Chrome!) – you have to delete the logged-in cookie
   in the browser to get back in. Comes back a few days later if you don’t log out
   in the mean time. It’s fixed in the pro version but not in the free version.

 * 6.3 just released and changelog says it fixes this.
