Issues updating to 4.7.1 & 4.7.2

    I have been attempting to update to the most current version of WordPress, but it’s just not showing up under the updates section. I’m not getting any errors, it says I have the most recent version of WordPress but I don’t.
    I’ve talked to our host, but they don’t seem to know what is going on either. They’ve tried reinstalling it, but nothing happens. I’ve deactivated our caching plugin, and still nothing. I have 2 other sites with similar set ups and they’ve updated just fine.
    Any ideas? or at least how to fix this?

    Do you have anything related to updates in wp-config.php that might be disabling them?

    If not, go for a manual update: https://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update

    I looked through the wp-config.php file, and tried a hiding a few lines created by plugins. It still doesn’t show up. My host tried a manual update for WordPress, but it didn’t do anything.

    Put not your faith in hosts.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    I advice you to Disbale the themes and plugins by just changing the name of the themes and plugins to any other name and then manually update wordpress !
    Maybe some theme or plugin may be having a conflict !

    @ladyslynn , Sounds like you got the below plugin enabled, simply disable it and it should fix your issue

    I don’t have that plugin

    It’s not quite resolved, but I was able to update.
