    Hello there,

    We recently bought a new domain, which we assigned on a new hosting (the one we need help with) as the old hosting and old domain are dead.
    We firstly restored the most recent version of the website via xml file and the WordPress Importer to test it was working.
    But an our Dropbox we do have an old backup of the old website that we would like to replace the one originated from the xml file i’ve mentioned above.
    The Dropbox account is linked to your plugin but for some reasons, the plugin only see the backups on the Dropbox and public_html folder of the xml xml one………no sign of the plugin ‘seeing’ the old backup on Dropbox.
    I was wondering if that requires us to manually change some config file or in the SQL database.
    My fear is that the plugin is looking for the old domain but when it sees the new one it stops.
    Can you help us with that, please?

    Hello @bluewirestudio,

    I would be glad to help you with your issue.

    In order to restore a backup of an old site at a new one, you should have Dropbox Full Backup PRO version installed at the new site and tick “Read all backups from dropbox cloud” in plugin settings to display the backups.
    One main condition, in order to let the Backup & Restore Dropbox plugin see the backups of your old domain, your new domain address should be the same as the old one (at which you made a backup).
