• Hello! I’ve found that this plugin works super well for content that isn’t blog posts. Whenever I try to protect a page that includes blog posts, users can view the posts without logging in. Would you be able to provide insight as to why this is the case?

Thanks for your help! Have a great day!

Hi, let me see if I understand you correctly. You are saying that the plugin protects the content of pages but not of posts? If this is correct can you check the following documentation.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you.

Sorry for the confusion! I’ve found that the plugin protects contents of pages unless they contain blog posts. So, if the page is a member’s only section, for instance, that includes a special blog, those posts will always be visible regardless of whether or not I’ve asked it the plugin to protect the content.

However, if the page I’m protecting is a contact area that does not contain posts (for example), the plugin will in fact protect the content.

Whenever I am trying to protect a page containing blog posts the plugin seems ineffective.

Let me know if that clears things up! Thanks!

Hi, sorry, I’m not from the support team, but I’m starting to use of this plugin as well and don’t see the problem you have describe here

here is the Page, page is protected, you can’t see anything on the page. Page contains Blog Posts ( news ) So – all can be protected and are protected, pages, posts, categories…

Thanks koswebsite, that’s a good reference. I’m definitely still having this issue, though it doesn’t seem to be consistently affecting people. Did you do anything different or particular when you were creating or displaying posts?

No, just usual… make sure you have box ticked for protecting the content and membership level box too.
Also, you can protect the Categories your post is falling under, so when choosi g the protected category and update the page, the post or page become protected as well…
Also, check in the setting, there is, if Im not mixing this with another membership plugin, should be the settings to show teaser of the protected post, but does not show the full post, so that might be your case
